If you are interested in being part of the SA-Ballot pool for our next review cycle, please follow the instructions below to request participation. Thanks, Mark From: "Mark Nowell (mnowell)" <00000b59be7040a9-dmarc-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Dear Colleagues, A reminder to join the SA-ballot pool if you wish for the next phase of the P802.3cu balloting process. Details on joining below. Deadline is next Thursday June 4th. Regards, Mark On 2020-05-07, 2:23 PM, "Mark Nowell (mnowell)" <00000b59be7040a9-dmarc-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Dear Colleagues, In anticipation of our802.3cu's eventual move to SA Ballot phase we have begun the process of building up the Standards Association (SA) Ballot pool. For those not familiar with this phase, it is the 3rd review phase of the IEEE process. In this phase, balloting and voting on the drafts (Usually D3.x) is open to anyone in the world to review. This broadening of the pool of reviewers
is intended to further improve the quality of the specification after is has been reviewed through the Task Force Review process and the Working Group Review process. The key thing about being part of the SA Ballot pool is you need to actually request to be part of it and the instructions on how to do that are below in the email that David Law sent to the Dialog reflector.
Once you are in the pool, you will receive notifications of the ballots and be able to submit "required" comments against the draft. If you do not participate in the SA ballot pool, we typically will still accept and review comments
but can only commit to dealing with them on a best-case basis. Let me know if you have any questions. Association Ballot of the IEEE P802.3cu 100 Gb/s and 400 Gb/s over SMF at 100 Gb/s per Wavelength draft please follow the instructions found below. This is the same IEEE Web Account you would use to access the IEEE attendance tool. If you are an IEEE-SA member: Follow this process: 1. Log onto myProject; click the link: <https://development.standards.ieee.org/myproject-web/app#>. 2. Click on "Menu" in the top right; click on "Invitations/Ballots"; click on the "Open Invitations Panel" <https://development.standards.ieee.org/myproject-web/app#ballots>. 3. Scroll down until you find IEEE P802.3cu (if you cannot see IEEE P802.3cu please click the 'All Invitations' button); click on the "Join Ballot Group" icon under the heading "Ballot Invitations". 4. like for the year. OPTION 1 - I am already an IEEE Member and I want to add Standards Association Membership. Go to: <http://www.ieee.org/membership_services/index.html> OPTION 2 - I am not an IEEE Member but would like to enroll in both IEEE and IEEE Standards Association. Go to: <http://www.ieee.org/membership_services/membership/join/index.html>. OPTION 3 - I am not interested in becoming an IEEE Member, however I would like to enroll as a Standards Association Member only. Go to: < https://standards.ieee.org/about/membership/index.html> If you are interested in paying a per ballot fee please contact <David_Law@xxxxxxxx> as soon as possible.
