Dear Colleagues, The IEEE Standards Association today has approved IEEE Std 802.3cu-2021 as a new IEEE standard!!! I’d like to congratulate and thank everyone who was part of the Task Force for their efforts in working together to complete this standard. I would especially like to thank the small team who did an overweight amount of work. Gary Nicholl, our chief editor, in his first time in that role did an awesome job working with David Lewis as our clause
editor and Mark Kimber as our editorial advisor/reviewer. This team work very quickly and efficiently and managed the review process excellently, especially as we were figuring out how to do all of this during a global lockdown. I’m proud to say that we held
to our pre-lockdown schedule despite everything. Finally, Ken Jackson, as our Recording Secretary kept us all on track and was deeply involved in all aspects throughout which was much appreciated. Now that the standard is approved, we will work with the IEEE-SA publication team to get this published as soon as possible. I’m delighted that it turns out Pete Anslow is our IEEE-SA publication owner for
this so we know it will be done with the utmost speed and precision! All the best and thank you, Mark To unsubscribe from the STDS-802-3-100G-OPTX list, click the following link: https://listserv.ieee.org/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=STDS-802-3-100G-OPTX&A=1 |
