[EFM] Restrictive Notices on Email Communications
Dear Members of the IEEE 802.3 EFM Task Force,
The IEEE e-mail reflectors and Web sites may not contain any material
identified
as confidential or copyrighted by the poster. Some of your e-mail
messages contain
boilerplate statements that contain confidentiality or copyright
statements, or which
imply restrictions on the distribution of the message. Please remove
these notices prior
to posting to the reflector. The reflectors have been configured to
bounce any messages
that contain such statements. Any messages containing such statements
that some
how slip past the reflector filters should be ignored and discarded.
This is similar to the requirement that posted presentations be free of
notices
of confidentiality or copyright. Obviously, we make an exception for
materials, such
as draft documents, that are copyrighted by the IEEE.
Thank you for your understanding.
Howard Frazier
Chair, IEEE 802.3ah EFM Task Force
