[802.3_DIALOG] Hugh Barrass - Friend and Colleague
Getting over the shock of this news is difficult.
Hugh has demonstrated a broad range of expertise for many years over
many projects from copper to fiber, logic to protocols, and during this
entire time, he showed us how to do it with professionalism and levity
intertwined so tightly that it was absolutely fun to work with him.
Hugh stood with integrity on a number of occasions, even when his
position was in contrast to his employer's viewpoint, because he was
standing on principle.
When work was done for the day, it was always a joy to come across Hugh
in a social setting. The conversation was sure to raise a laugh and the
time was memorable.
I pray that his family can find comfort at this time of loss.
