[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3bm 40 Gb/s and 100 Gb/s Fibre Optic 2nd Sponsor recirculation ballot results
Dear Colleagues,
The 2nd Sponsor recirculation ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3bm 40 Gb/s and 100 Gb/s Fibre Optic closed successfully on 14th October 2014. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The November 2014 IEEE P802.3bm Task Force plenary week meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 38 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has already been announced on the IEEE P802.3bm Task Force reflector.
