[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3bw 100BASE-T1 initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot results

The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bw 100BASE-T1 closed successfully on 18th December 2014. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The January 2015 IEEE P802.3bw Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 643 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3bw Task Force reflector.
The ballot statistics are:
266 Voters
97 Approve
14 Disapprove
35 Abstain
146 Ballots returned
54.89% Response Rate (> 50% required)
23.97% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
87.39% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
An additional 3 comments were received after the ballot closed, these comments will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3bw Task Force if, based on a vote if necessary, there is no objection to do so.
