[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3bp 1000BASE-T1 initial Sponsor ballot results
Dear Colleagues,
The initial Sponsor ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bp 1000BASE-T1 closed successfully on 14th January 2016. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The January 2016 IEEE P802.3bp Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 180 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3bp Task Force reflector.
An additional 20 comments were received after the ballot closed, these comments will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3bp Task Force if, based on a vote if necessary, there is no objection to do so.
