[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3bq 25G/40GBASE-T initial Sponsor ballot results
Dear Colleagues,
The initial Sponsor ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bq 25G/40GBASE-T closed successfully on 7th January 2016. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The January 2016 IEEE P802.3bq Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 182 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has been announced on the IEEE P802.3bq Task Force reflector.
An additional 6 comments were received after the ballot closed, these comments will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3bq Task Force if, based on a vote if necessary, there is no objection to do so.
