Colleagues, Early registration is open until Tuesday, April 26 for the May Interim scheduled for May 23-27, 2016 at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, BC, Canada and hosted by the Ethernet Alliance. I strongly recommend registering this week to avoid any last-minute scrambling before the Tuesday deadline.
Please see the meeting home page for more information about ground transportation options, links to the hotel group reservation page, the meeting schedule, and a link to contact the meeting planner if you have questions: New eTA requirement for non-U.S. visa-exempt citizens Citizenship and Immigration Canada has informed us of a new regulation affecting visitors to Canada: Starting March 15, 2016, visa-exempt foreign nationals who fly to or transit through Canada will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Exceptions include U.S. citizens and foreign nationals with a valid visa. To apply for an eTA you must have a valid passport, a credit card, and email address. The cost is $7 CAD and your eTA will be valid for up to five years. You do NOT need an invitation letter or any documentation from the meeting planner. Please apply here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/eta-start.asp I look forward to seeing you in Whistler! Regards, Steve Steven B.
