[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3bv Gigabit Ethernet over Plastic Optical Fibre 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results

The 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bv Gigabit Ethernet over Plastic Optical Fibre closed successfully on 15th June 2016. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The 28th June 2016 IEEE P802.3bv Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 8 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3bv Task Force reflector.
An additional 2 comments were received after the ballot closed, these comments will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3bv Task Force if, based on a vote if necessary, there is no objection to do so.
