[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3bs 200 Gb/s and 400 Gb/s Ethernet 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results
Dear Colleagues,
The 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bs 200 Gb/s and 400 Gb/s Ethernet closed successfully on 14th December 2016. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The January 2017 IEEE P802.3bs Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 37 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has already been announced on the IEEE P802.3bs Task Force reflector.
An additional 24 comments were received after the ballot closed, these comments will be marked as 'late' in the comment database and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3bs Task Force if, based on a vote if necessary, there is no objection to do so.
