[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3bv Gigabit Ethernet over Plastic Optical Fiber 3rd Sponsor recirculation ballot results

The 3rd Sponsor recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bv Gigabit Ethernet over Plastic Optical Fiber closed successfully on 27th December 2016. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The ballot statistics are:

5 Abstain
105 Ballots returned
86.07% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
4.76% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
98.00% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
One comment was received, it was an Editorial Coordination comments that reads 'This draft meets all editorial requirements.'. As a result the IEEE P802.3bv Task Force interim meeting planned for next week during the IEEE 802.3 Interim meeting week has been cancelled, and IEEE P802.3bv draft D3.3 will remain on the 30th January 2017 IEEE-SA Standards Board Standards Review Committee (RevCom) agenda.
