[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3cc 25 Gb/s Ethernet over Single-Mode Fiber 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3cc 25 Gb/s Ethernet over Single-Mode Fiber closed successfully on 10th March 2017. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft and received no comments. I therefore expect that a request will be made at the IEEE 802.3 closing plenary meeting this week to progress this project to Sponsor ballot.

The ballot statistics are:

 223 Voters
 130 Approve
   3 Disapprove
  24 Abstain
 157 Ballots returned

 70.40% Response Rate (> 50% required)
 15.29% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
 97.74% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
