[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3ch Multi-Gig Automotive Ethernet PHY 3rd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The 3rd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3ch Multi-Gig Automotive Ethernet PHY closed successfully on 6th November 2019. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft and no comments were received.

It is therefore expected that a request will be made at the November 2019 IEEE 802.3 plenary meeting to progress this project to Standards Association ballot.

The ballot statistics are:

 235 Voters
 120 Approve
   1 Disapprove 
  22 Abstain
 143 Ballots returned

  60% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  15% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  99% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
