[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3cz Multi-Gigabit Optical Automotive Ethernet initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3cz Multi-Gigabit Optical Automotive Ethernet closed successfully on 22nd April 2022. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The May 2022 IEEE P802.3cz Task Force interim meetings <https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 261 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3cz Task Force reflector.

An additional 20 comments were received after the ballot closed, these comments will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3cz Task Force if, based on a vote, if necessary, there is no objection to do so.

The ballot statistics are:

 209 Voters
 126 Approve
   6 Disapprove 
  15 Abstain
 147 Ballots returned

  70% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  10% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  95% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
