Dear Colleagues,
As I noted in the IEEE 802.3 March 2023 plenary meeting announcement <https://www.ieee802.org/3/email_dialog/msg01401.html>, there are no IEEE 802.3 maintenance items to consider at the March 2023 plenary, so the IEEE 802.3 Maintenance Task Force will not be meeting, and the time will instead be an opportunity to attend an IEEE 802.1 YANGsters meeting to which all IEEE 802.3 participants are invited to attend.
The IEEE 802.1 YANGsters subgroup is very active, and YANG and MIB development is a significant activity in IEEE 802.1 with nearly two dozen modules. With the proposed IEEE P802.3.2 Standard for Ethernet - YANG Data Model Definitions revision project, this will be an opportunity to discuss details on data model semantics, as well as an opportunity for a broader discussion of how IEEE 802.1 can provide development guidance, assistance, and review.
The IEEE 802.1 YANGsters meeting will take place from 13h30 to 15h30 on Wednesday 15 March 2023, meeting access information is provided below. I'll arrange to have this added to the IEEE 802.3 calendar <https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> shortly.
