Dear Colleagues, As an individual member of the IEEE P3400 reflector, I am forwarding this announcement of the opportunity to join the IEEE P3400 Standard for Use of Inclusive Language in Technical Terminology and Communications Balloting Group. I am
doing this in response to the request from the IEEE P3400 Inclusive Language Working Group Secretary, Kerry Blinco, who says in the email below, 'Please pass this along to your colleagues who may be interested in joining the Ballot Group', as I believe there

The standard includes recommendations on how to replace such deprecated technical terminology and provides examples of alternatives. The
