Registration Fees Discount
Registration fees for the November 2023 IEEE 802 Plenary Session shall be discounted by $US 300.00 for attendees who stay at the IEEE 802 Group Hotel, the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki.
Example: Discounted Early Registration would be $US 500.00.
Reservations must be complete and a confirmation number entered when completing registration in order to receive the discounted rate.

Children Under 18 Years of Age
Children under 18 stay free in the same room as parents, if utilizing existing bedding.
Extra Person(s) Rate
For every third and fourth occupant in the room is $50.00 per person, per night plus tax (maximum of four persons).
Daily Resort Charge
The Daily Resort Charge for IEEE 802 Guest Room Rate is an additional $US 10.00 *plus taxes/fees, per room per night,
The charge includes: guest room internet access; cultural activities; exercise classes; outdoor movies; 20% off adventure sail & elite beach package; 2-day rental car discount or upgrade; 10% off beach activities/services; Waikiki Aquarium offer; DVD/game use.
Taxes and Fees
The following state, and local tax and fee rates apply to each guest room reservation.
- 10.25 % per room, per night
- 4.71 % per room, per night
- 3.00 % per room, per night
Example: $US 259.00 guest room, charges total approximately $US 48.00 per night
Booking Policy (Credit Card Guarantee)Bookings need to be guaranteed by a valid credit card.
This credit card will not be charged in advance of arrival, payment is due upon arrival at the hotel by the guest.
Only in case of applying cancellation and/or NoShow charges, the advised credit card will be charged by the hotel.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Deadline: 72 Hours Before Arrival
- Hotel room reservations can be canceled free of charge without penalty until 72 Hours (3 days) prior to reservation Check IN Date.
- Afterwards a cancellation fee for one night’s accommodations will be made to the credit card on file and the remainder of the reservation canceled.
- This penalty applies to each of the reserved rooms canceled after the cancellation deadline.
No Show Policy
In case of no show, the penalty of 100% of the contracted room rate, per room, for one night, applies and will be charged.
Subject to Availability
All of the IEEE 802 room rates are subject to the availability in the Guest Room block.
When the block is sold out or the October 20, 2023 deadline has passed market rates will apply.
Traveling To/From the Hilton Hawaiian Village WaikikiPlease take the steps to determine how you would like to travel to the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki. There are a number of options within the city and to/from the airport including: rental car, airport shuttle, taxi, and car share rides. The Hilton Hawaiian Village partners include Charley’s Taxi (

Traveling To/From Honolulu, HI USA
Please take the steps to determine if you require travel documentation including such items as a VISA to attend a particular IEEE 802 Meeting. The requirements change from time to time. Because of this, we strongly urge all attendees to review the entry requirements for traveling to each IEEE 802 meeting location and determine for themselves, or in collaboration with their employer, what if any travel documentation is required.

Everyone arriving at a port of entry to the U.S. is subject to inspection by Customs and Border Protection officers for compliance with immigration, customs and agriculture regulations. The more international travelers know about what to expect, the easier and quicker the process becomes.

Registered Attendees who book within the IEEE 802 Block at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki shall have access to an official confirmation of stay including the name and dates of the IEEE 802 Session.
