[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3da 10 Mb/s Single Pair Multidrop Segments Enhancement 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results



Dear Colleagues,

The 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3da 10 Mb/s Single Pair Multidrop Segments Enhancement closed successfully on 23rd February 2025. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The March 2025 IEEE P802.3da Task Force plenary week meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 117 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has already been announced on the IEEE P802.3da Task Force reflector.

An additional 6 comments were received after the ballot closed. These comments will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3da Task Force if, based on a vote if necessary, there is no objection to doing so.

The ballot statistics are:

 239 Voters
 131 Approve
  13 Disapprove 
  36 Abstain
 180 Ballots returned

  75% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  20% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  90% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
