Mr. Law delegated the consideration of a liaison from ITU-T regarding Weakly Coupled Multi-core fibre to the IEEE P802.3dj Task Force.

An initial proposed response has been generated by the Task Force. See https://www.ieee802.org/3/dj/public/25_05/IEEE_802d3_to_ITU_2_3dj_2505_Redacted.pdf.

The Task Force will consider approval of its proposed response Thursday at the start of PM1.

Given the discussion in the IEEE P802.3dj Task Force, Mr. Law delegated sharing this proposed response with the broader 802.3 WG via the Dialog Reflector to me for feedback. Any individuals who have any feedback are encouraged to contact me prior to the start of Thursday PM1.
