[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3da 10 Mb/s Single Pair Multidrop Segments Enhancement third IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results



Dear Colleagues,

The third IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3da, 10 Mb/s Single Pair Multidrop Segments Enhancement, closed successfully on 15 June 2025. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The 24 June 2024 IEEE P802.3da Task Force interim meeting <https://www.ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 7 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3da Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

239 Voters
 156 Approve
   2 Disapprove 
  36 Abstain
 194 Ballots returned

  81% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  18% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  98% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
