The initial Standards Association ballot on the IEEE P802.3dj 200 Gb/s, 400 Gb/s, 800 Gb/s, and 1.6 Tb/s Ethernet amendment closed successfully on 26th March 2026. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The May 2026 IEEE P802.3dj
Task Force session <
https://www.ieee802.org/3/dj/public/index.html> will consider the 487 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database
will be announced on the IEEE P802.3dj Task Force reflector.

131 Ballots returned
82% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
2% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
