[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3-2022/Cor 2 Multi-Gigabit Optical Automotive Ethernet TDFOM Normalization Factors initial Standards Association ballot results



Dear Colleagues,

The initial Standards Association ballot on the Corrigenda IEEE P802.3-2022/Cor 2 Multi-Gigabit Optical Automotive Ethernet TDFOM Normalization Factors closed successfully on 6 May 2026. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The 1 July 2026 IEEE P802.3-2022/Cor 2 Task Force interim meeting, as part of the Maintenance Task Force meeting <https://www.ieee802.org/3/calendar.html>, will consider the 4 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3-2022/Cor 2 Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

  86 Voters
  66 Approve
   1 Disapprove 
   4 Abstain
  71 Ballots returned

  82% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
   5% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  98% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
