Re: [802.3_EPOC] Special Interest Group Email Server for informal EPoC SIG minutes and discussion
Jorge,
I think that since 29 people already signed up for the Yahoo group, we can cutover Monday (else many of us will start getting duplicate emails).

Good point Hal. We wanted to avoid this separate reflector altogether for this very reason and the problems that may surface from keeping both reflectors in sync.
How about we wait at least 1 week before starting to use this reflector exclusively, and in the meantime send all Email to both?
Dave,
Mark,
Would that be OK?
Thanks!
Jorge

Rajeev,
When is the cutover date? I registered and saw no emails yet in this SIG. To avoid chaos we need to wait until everyone has had a chance to register and have a defined cutover date and time.
Regards,
Hal

Team,
For those of you participating in the Monday morning consensus building calls please note that we may no longer use the official IEEE STDS-802-3-EPOC@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:STDS-802-3-EPOC@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> email list for minutes (published by Joe Solomon) or subsequent discussion since this is an informal group and the official IEEE site becomes an official record of the Task Force proceedings .
Thereore, I have set up a yahoo group email for this purpose called EPOC-SIG. Please follow instruction below to subscribe to this:
1. Please send an email to EPOC-SIG-subscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:EPOC-SIG-subscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> (no subject needed and no text)
2. You should receive an email from Yahoo! Groups Notification notify@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:notify@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> (make sure you unblock this address) with subject "Request to join EPOC-SIG" - simply "reply" this email
3. Once you reply the email in (2) you will receive a confirmation email with subject Yahoo! Groups: Welcome to EPOC-SIG. Visit today! <http://mail.yahoo.com/>
4. Once you have a confirmation you can click on the website at the bottom of that email and it will take you to the group website where you can see all the members and any emails you missed.
5. To send email to the group use EPOC-SIG@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:EPOC-SIG@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Please note I have set this up so anyone can subscribe (no moderator approval needed).
Email me if you have any problems.
Please subscribe before Monday.
Thanks!
Rajeev
