Re: [STDS-802-3-EPOC] work_items_3bn_01_1113_R02.docx from today's conference call
Dear Mark,
Two issues marked as System Issues have been already addressed. I list them
below for reference. The have been addressed through comments on draft D0.2
(mostly):
FEC CRC-40 baseline text (Marek, Rich, BZ) - included in the draft as of
D0.3
Sublayer interfaces (Marek, Mark) - we have approved diagram, and specific
interfaces will have to come out from definitions of specific services
provided by individual sublayers
Furthermore, I would like to suggest that for the upcoming meeting in
January we prioritize resolution of comments on the draft and treat
stand-alone contributions as lower priority items. I would like to really
encourage individuals planning to contribute to the work to focus their
efforts on the particular missing items within the draft and submit comments
on it, moving it forward. I think we are well past spending 75% of the
meeting looking at disconnected contributions that do not move us much
towards the end product of the project, i.e. development of a draft of an
amendment to 802.3-2012.

Subject: [STDS-802-3-EPOC] work_items_3bn_01_1113_R02.docx from today's
conference call
Dear IEEE P802.3bn Participants,
This is a work in progress document to review work items versus past
technical decisions as well as evaluating the "holes" we have to fill moving
ahead.
Please review and get back the list with any comments.
Thanks you on this,
Mark Laubach, Chair
IEEE P802.3bn Task Force
