Congratulations!!!
As forwarded below as passed to me by David Law, the IEEE Standards
Association Standards Board approved IEEE P802.3bn Draft 3.2 for publication
as IEEE Std 802.3bn-2016 at this morning's SASB meeting!
I would like to thank everyone who participated in the long effort to bring
this work to standard status. Very special thanks go out to our Chief
Editor, Duane Remein. I would also like to especially thank all those who
provided review and comment during the numerous ballot cycles.
The draft will take several/many weeks to be processed by IEEE Staff for
publication. Word will go out when the amendment is available.

I am pleased to inform you that P802.3bn was approved as a new standard by
the IEEE-SA Standards Board on 22 September 2016. A copy of the document
will be forwarded to the Standards Publications Department. The editor
assigned to work on the project will contact you.
An approved IEEE standard will remain active for ten years. If the Sponsor
does not complete a revision process within ten years, the
standard will be transferred to inactive status.
