All, During the meeting today, reference was made to work done
during the 802.3ae project, where due to the diverse audience, various
terminology was defined, so everybody could communicate with each other. Below is a link to that presentation: http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/3/ae/public/terminology.pdf Based on some of the conversation today, I sense that it
would be beneficial for us to do the same thing. So have a look at the
