[HSSG] Reflector Discussion

I would like to thank all for the recent discussions on the reflector.  Open communications will help the Study Group to make informed decisions.  

 

As a reminder, please note per the cost discussion slide set (http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/3/cost_discussion.pdf):

 

The subject of Cost In A Technical Standards Development Committee Is Appropriate Under the Following General

Guidelines;

* The Perspective Is Cost Not Price (I.e., Market Or Sales View),

* The Purpose Is To Evaluate Cost/Performance Tradeoffs Where Technical Considerations Are The Main Objective,

* The Facts Are Stated Objectively And Can Be Substantiated

 

Participants should make sure to focus their comments on cost, and not price. 

 

In addition, make sure to keep your communications professional and in accordance with IEEE 802.3 reflector policy (http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/3/reflector_policy.html).
