[HSSG] Presentation Requests

All,

Today, I received email from several individuals asking if it was necessary to submit their presentations at the time of requesting presentation time.  Per the Procedures for Presenters (http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/3/hssg/public/presentproc.html), it is necessary to make the request for presentation time and provide a soft-copy version of the presentation by Tuesday of the week preceding the meeting.  However, it does not state that these two things must be done at the same time.

 

Given the state of the HSSG, I am anticipating a large number of presentations for our meeting in Atlanta.  It would be very helpful for planning purposes if individuals would email their requests for presentation time as soon as possible, and not wait until Tuesday, Nov 6.
