Dear Task Force Members, The minutes for the July plenary meeting have been posted at

adopted baseline proposals has been updated to reflect the results of this past
week’s meeting: http://www.ieee802.org/3/ba/BaselineSummary_0708.pdf This was a very successful meeting, as we adopted 4 of the 5
remaining baseline proposals that was needed. I would like to thank all
of those involved in the offline consensus building that led to the resolution
of these proposals. With that said, the Task Force still needs to adopt a
baseline proposal regarding the 40 Gb/s over at least 10km SMF. The Editorial Team is targeting August 25 to release a
preview version of the proposed text for all adopted baseline proposals to the
