I have a question/comment concerning the rise time definition discussed in today’s meeting. Would it be possible to define the rise time as a maximum dV/dt? This would not require the use of different percentage levels based on de-emphasis, and be immune to the voltage droop experienced with a 5 zero 5 one type of situation. I could be way off base, but it seemed reasonable.
