Dear Task Force Members, The IEEE P802.3ba Task Force will be meeting May 4 – May 7, 2009 during
the May IEEE 802.3 Interim Meeting. The Task Force will be meeting all day
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. On Thursday, the meeting will end at noon
(Eastern). Meeting details may be found at http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html.
You are strongly encouraged to make your reservations as soon as
possible. Visit the meeting registration web site to
register for the meetings. The deadlines for web registration are 13-April for
the first week’s meetings and 20-April for the second week’s
meetings. Please note that the IEEE P802.3ba Task Force is meeting the second
week of meetings. The agenda for the meeting will be resolution of comments received
against D2.0 and to begin the track towards getting to sponsor ballot. Presentations
for the interim meeting should focus on comments submitted against D2.0.
Please note if you are intending to give a presentation in support of a
suggested remedy (or providing any supplemental material) for any comments,
please indicate this in the “Suggested Remedy” field in your
comment submission. All task force attendees
should be reviewing D 2.0, as the ballot closes on Thursday, 16th April 2009
11:59PM AOE. With this being the first circulation of the Working Group
Ballot, we are anticipating a larger number of comments than received during
Task Force Review. As discussed, all individuals should be participating
in the offline consensus building for proposed remedies for any comments made
against D2.0. Anyone wishing to present, please provide the following information

site the 'Document Information' fields of the PDF file must be completed as
follows: Title: Title of presentation Author: Name(s) of author(s) Subject: IEEE P802.3ba Task Force As a reminder individuals should not forward presentations to our
webmaster, Frank, asking him to post presentations. All should note that
files are not posted until they have been reviewed, so please follow directions
noted above. As a reminder to the group, we are a contribution driven organization,
and we do have a fairly large project underway. It should not be assumed
by anyone that work will just get done without contributions to drive it.
Areas not moving forward will be brought to the attention of the Task Force for
consideration on how to address; as such issues can not be allowed to threaten
the overall project schedule. I look forward to seeing everyone in Best Regards, John D’Ambrosia Chair, IEEE 802.3ba Task Force Tel: 717.460.8535 Email jdambrosia@xxxxxxxx |
