This is the announcement of an interim IEEE 802.3
maintenance meeting. We appear to be near the end of sponsor ballot on IEEE
802.3ay (P802.3). The sponsor ballot of IEEE 802.3ax (P802.1AX) is already
complete however since these two projects are co-contingent RevCom submittal of
IEEE 802.3ax (P802.1AX) will not occur until the sponsor balloting of IEEE
802.3ay (P802.3) is also complete.
A second recirculation ballot will be opened soon
on IEEE P802.3/D2.2. If the comment volume on this draft is significant enough
to justify, the April maintenance meeting will be held. If there are no
comments, or no substantive comments to resolve, the meeting will be cancelled.
Because it is late in the Sponsor ballot process, teleconference attendance will
be supported. To assure adequate facilities, you are requested to contact me at
david_law@ieee.org if you plan to attend and indicate if that attendance will be
in person or via teleconference, I would appreciate it if you could contact me
by 14th April.
