Dear Colleagues, The IEEE P802.3/D2.2 (IEEE 802.3bh) second working group recirculation ballot closed on December 2nd at 11:59 AOE successfully. The ballot continued to exceed the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. No new comments or disapproves were received. This successfully concludes the WG Ballot phase for this project. The editorial team is now working on producing draft D3.0 in anticipation of the initial sponsor ballot. Per the authorizations given under Procedure 14, a report to the 802 EC will be provided by the Working Group Chair and we will work with IEEE staff to open the sponsor ballot per the calendar parameters discussed in the Maintenance Task Force in November to allow for an extended initial ballot review cycle due to the holidays. Separate announcements for the sponsor ballot will be made. The cumulative working group ballot statistics are: 125 Voters 86 Ballots returned 79 Approve 4 Disapprove All of which were with comments 3 Abstain 68.80% Response Rate (> 50% required) 3.49% Abstain Rate (< 30% required) 95.18% Approval Rate (>= 75% required) Thank you to all that participated in this ballot.
