Re: [8023-POEP] Classification Ad Hoc

Hi guys

I suggest focusing on Layer 1 first.

Layer 2 can be handled by Hugh and its group of volunteers.
If I remember correctly, Hugh had to prepare some initial document which
describes layer 2 requirements for supporting classification which will
be reviewed and discussed by its ad-hoc (those who interested to
contribute for promoting this work). I am fully support this work and
already allocate manpower to help Hugh with it.

I believe that layer 2 support will be easier to handle by the group and
less controversial than layer 1 hence better utilization of our time.

Clay,

I would appreciate some of the time for L2 management discussions - if
it looks like one call will be overloaded by that then I will set up
separate calls. My hope is that 5 hours of con call should be enough to
cover L1, L2 and find a solution for world peace...

Hugh.
