Re: [8023-POEP] Comments on D1.0

I'd like to reiterate Mike's sentiment.  So far only two people have provided comment files resulting in 52 comments in the database.  I had time to read through them and 21 of the 52 I have deemed 'ez'.  Early comments give me time to review them at my leisure (and also allow me to NOT comment on something that someone already has commented on reducing redundancy and total comments...).

Also, if you have a comment file already going please send it in.  I can accept as many comment files as you'd like to send and you can make as many as you want to generate.  Like Mike said in Ohio, don't hang on to it hoping you will get to the rest of the document and then send the complete comment file at one time.  If you have reviewed your main interest area and have comments, send them.  Then send another comment file later.  Comments received tomorrow might get looked at while I suffer through the Browns vs. the Seahawks while the rest of the US gets to watch Pats Colts...  (damn NFL local market TV rules).

Subject: [8023-POEP] Comments on D1.0

Colleagues:

Please review the revised draft and submit comments as soon as you possibly can, the draft can be found at:

  http://www.ieee802.org/3/at/private/index.html

Please be aware that at the October interim meeting in Cleveland we set a comment deadline of November 5 as the deadline and that only comments generated using the comment tool would be accepted.  This is a short comment period and you now have less than one week to send in your comments.

Please proceed as quickly as possible to generate your comments using the tool (also found on the above mentioned link) and submit them by the end of the day on November 5.

Cheers

Mike
