Ethernet terminations & power requirements
Hopefully a few people have subscribed by now, and some of you may actually
respond (to the list, so it will get archived.)
I would like to begin compiling a set of termination techniques used for
twisted pair interfaces. These should include 10 - 1000 T interfaces. If
you could send information about what your organization does regarding the
interface at the RJ-45 to the mailing list, that would be great. If you'd
prefer so show up at York with this kind of information, that would work
too.
I would also suggest that anyone who knows of power requirements for
devices that are power sinks, it would be beneficial to share that
information as soon as possible.
A good collection of data regarding these two subjects would go a long way
to getting started on two of the PAR requirements.
