[802.3af] RE: Resolution text for Yair's comment (Comment #35)
Geoff-
Would this not be more appropriate:
________________________________________________________________________
WARNING
Test mode may damage connected non-PD, legacy, twisted-pair Ethernet
devices or other non-Ethernet devices, especially in split application
wiring schemes.
________________________________________________________________________
..inside a box per 14.7.2.4?

Subject: Resolution text for Yair's comment (Comment #35)
John-
(From the Tuesday AM state machine comment resolution ad hoc.)
This new text goes into 33.6.1.1.3 at the bottom of the sub-clause.
There should be a different text style for warnings. For an example (if you
do not already have an established style within the template), see 14.7.2.4
of the published standard
==============================================
NOTE-- Test mode may damage connected non-PD, legacy, twisted-pair Ethernet
devices or other non-Ethernet devices, especially in split application
wiring schemes.

(This editorial change also completes the recommended remedy to comment
#455 on D3.0)
Thanks,
Geoff
