[ECSG-802-OMNIRAN] IETF feedback on OmniRAN PAR

Hi all,

 

Last week at the IETF 88 in Vancouver I presented the OmniRAN draft PAR at the Internet Area WG meeting. The feedback received was:

 

-       Clarification that OmniRAN is not planning to define new IP parameters (done)

-       Consideration of implications of OmniRAN on existing IETF specifications (e.g. IPv6 Neighbor Discovery, Distributed Mobility Management, etc.)

-       Brian Haberman (Internet Area Director) strongly encouraged IETF Internet Area members to participate in future IEEE 802 OmniRAN activities ad consider these new developments when discussing new work in the Internet Area.
