[ECSG-802-OMNIRAN] OmniRAN PAR got approved - and the ECSG will continue until Mar 2014

Dear colleagues,

I would like to inform you that today the EC closing plenary approved our
PAR proposal for submission to NesCom.

As the NesCom decision will happen end of March 2014, the OmniRAN EC SG was
extended until the end of the March 2014 meeting to allow us to continue
work on the project, in particular to prepare the creation of the
specification. Therefore we will meet again at the IEEE 802 interim session
in January in Los Angeles.

I will shortly send out the invitation for a conference call about middle
December to discuss the plan for the January session and beyond.

Thanks a lot for your support and contributions in the past 12 months to
make this PAR happen.
