[802-LMSC] +++LMSC review+++ a draft submission to UK Ofcom

Dear IEEE 802 LMSC members,

Greetings.

I would like to request the review of the following draft IEEE 802 LMSC submission before asking the LMSC to consider approval of the submission tentatively in the near future.

On 13 February 2025, UK Ofcom began a public consultation "Expanding access to the 6 GHz band for commercial mobile and Wi-Fi services" that seeks public opinion on its proposal to allow the use of AFC in the lower 6 GHz band and authorize both Wi-Fi and mobile services in the upper 6 GHz band

A few individuals prepared a response to commend the administration's proposal and provided responses to selected questions of the consultation  The submission was approved by IEEE 802.18 on 17 April 2025 with the following voting results:  6 Yes, 0 No, 2 Abstain.
