Basement flood friday. Right after I sent that message off friday, my wife
screamed from the basement about a flood. 2 hours before the sabbath......
So by saturday night there was 3" of water in places, and the plumber was
not done until 11:30pm EST. I was up much of the short night getting the
water that would not drain vacumned (fortunately tiled flooring). The
water missed by office by 12' (there are still some hot cables on the floor).
Big time setback, just before Passover. Little material loss, just lots of
time and it will take 2 weeks for the wood to dry out.
Sigh. Back to writing.......
