[LinkSec] Problems with email lists
It appears that a large number of bad things have happened at the IEEE. As
far as I can tell, virus checking, SpamAssassin, and IEEE aliases all
stopped working overnight.
The IEEE aliases are working now. I will be restoring our old filters to all
lists, and leaving them in place until SpamAssassin is back and we know we
can rely on it.
To those whose systems refused an attachment with a .exe extension,
congratulations. To the rest, don't run it. I hope the staff makes the virus
checking their top priority for restoration, but please be wary of
attachments in the meantime.
