I am
attaching a summary paper on the new Part-68 order, since it may affect some of
your working groups (particularly EFM) and also shows the thinking of the
FCC in regards to wireline telecommunications products. Note that IEEE 802, as
an ANSI accredited SDO, may submit technical specifications for approval by the
Admin Council.
