[802SEC] Re: d802 March Summary Information
Bob, thanks for the info.
I have a recommendation for modifying how that information is posted to be a
great deal more accessible to people that want to know more about the
activities and progress at our meetings and are not 802 experts (i.e. they
have no idea what that the acronym SEC doesn't stand for Securities and
Exchange Commission).
I recommend the 802 site should have a section listed under IEEE 802 GENERAL
INFORMATION on our home page that is Summary of Past Meetings.
That hyperlink should go to a site that lists in reverse chronological order
Meeting Date with the SEC opening and Closing Plenary Notes, and the
Summaries of the Working Groups as at least three separate files, unless you
want to list the Working Group Closing Plenary slides separately.
Basically, put yourself in the position of someone that wants to know a bit
about what has been happening in 802, and does not want to get fed with a
firehose. Having the summaries in an obvious place, easy to get to, would
go a long way to filling that need.
