Pre-registration for this meeting is
strongly encouraged because it will save you $50 and
much time spent waiting in line at the On-Site Registration Desk. For the
July plenary
meeting the fee for pre-registration is $250 and the fee for
on-site registration is $300.
• In
order to pre-register you are required to provide valid credit card
information for the
payment of the pre-registration fee ($250) before the pre-registration
deadline (6/27/01).
After the deadline you are required to pay the on-site registration fee
($300). Credit cards,
which fail to authorize the charge on the cut-off date (6/27/01), may
require you to register
on-site at the higher rate ($300), so check your expiration date now
!!!
• We
are in the process of updating our registration services. Information on
how to
register for the meeting will be posted on this website as it becomes
available.

I am getting questions about how and when folks can pre-register.
Can you please tell me when pre-registration will be enabled? We are now
less than 2 weeks from the hotel room block cut-off and folks like to
register at the same time as when they make their room reservations. What
do I tell them?
BTW, the 802.3 Closing Plenary is Thursday afternoon as announced in
802.3 at Hilton Head, not Friday AM as in your meeting
announcement.
