Re: [802SEC] +++ SEC EMAIL BALLOT +++ Get IEEE 802(tm) program recommendation
Colleagues -
I vote DISAPPROVE on this motion.
A couple of observations:
Option 1) is not, in my view, good value for our $75/head/meeting levy,
given that this was already a compromise from our original position of
wanting to find a way of making our standards freely available from
publication date.
Option 2) is where we currently are - we don't need an Exec motion to
sanction it, or to tell the BoG that it is an option. We have already voted
(twice) to cease payment of our $75/head/meeting levy, pending a good
reason to start paying it again.
I don't believe that we should be offering either of these choices to the BoG.
