RE: [802SEC] 802 reflector delays
Bob, Actually, I think it is a small additive factor which is easily dwarfed by other factors. The 802ALL list has well over 2500 members yet it doesn't seem to take much longer than the 802SEC list, and either can be randomly very slow. I suspect message size is a more important factor than list size because of serial vs. parallel.
Thanx, Buzz

Comparing WG delays where there are hundreds on the list (600+ for dot3) to the SEC reflector where I assume there are many fewer list members might not be relevant. List size probably is a multiplier of delays caused by other factors.

The delays may be somewhat related to the occasional inability that I
encounter for my browser to be able to access IEEE web pages.
