Folks,

Yet another minor glitch has occurred to me while editing the ‘WG M&M” ballot.  Membership in the EC is conferred upon ‘appointed’ WG chairs upon confirmation by their WG.  So what is their status prior to that point?  I would suggest they are ‘acting’ WG chairs.  Accordingly, I do not think they have voting rights, but they do sit at the table with the rest of the EC.  Accordingly I’d like to add the following line in 7.1.2 under non-voting members of the EC:

        Acting WG Chairs (appointed but not yet confirmed by WG)

Please let me know if people feel otherwise.  I will also raise this issue briefly at P&P meeting tonight since in my mind it is more than editorial.
