I support the provision of a stable and reliable network at meetings,
and believe the equipment covered in this motion supports that
objective.  I believe the prices represent a very good deal.  I also
appreciate the effort made to answer my concerns about sales tax.  

Unfortunately, I cannot vote to approve the acquisition because I do not
believe sufficient justification for not getting multiple bids has been
provided.  Therefore, even though I personally would like to vote
approve, I feel obligated to vote disapprove.

 The tentative results as of 9:30PM ET 28FEB for the below email ballot
are 
shown below.  Thanks to the EC for their prompt responses.

 "Motion:  To approve expenditure of  68,725.40  to fully implement  the

Network Upgrade Plan described in the attached Requisition and Bill of
 Material documents." Moved: Rigsbee Second: Sherman.

 The ballot opens 12:30PM ET Friday 24 February 2006 and closes when all

voting EC members have cast a ballot but no later than 12:30 PM ET
 Wednesday  1 March 2006 if enough ballots have been cast for a decision
to 
be made  (more than 8 approves or disapproves).
